Walnut wood
Color and appearance:
The heartwood of walnut may vary from light brown light to dark chocolate brown with deep tinted streaks. The secondary colors can sometimes have a gray, purple or reddish plaster.
Grain and texture:
The grain of walnut is generally straight, but can be irregular, especially in which concerns the magnifying glass, crotch and curly variants. The texture is uniform, with a moderate natural sheen.
